Open to children between the ages of 2.5 to 3.5, the Greens class helps the child develop positive social skills as the world opens up for them and peers become more important. Dramatic play becomes a central element of the school day, beginning math skills and the printed word are incorporated into daily activities, and class field trips are introduced (pre-pandemic, about 4 field trips take place throughout the year.)
There is no requirement to be toilet trained (as is the case for all Meekins classes). When your child is ready for that step, the teachers are happy to assist in the process.
Eligibility: Children between the ages of 2.5 and 3.5
Tuition: 3-Day Program is $3,492 ($388 per month) and 4-Day program is $4,608 ($512 per month) for the 2023/24 school year
Class hours: Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 9:15am – 1:15pm

There are always three adults in the classroom: the teacher, the parent, and an aide making the adult to child ratio (1:5).
Parents with a child in this class can expect to co-op in the school approximately 6-7 times or less during the school year.
A typical day in the Greens class looks like:
9:15 – Playground Arrival Time
9:30 – Morning meeting
9:40 – Gross Motor Playground Time
11:15 – Come Inside for Lunch
11:30-1:00 – Lunch and Indoor Play
1:00 – Story time
1:15 – Dismissal
